About Me

Hello! My name is Andrea. Mostly everyone I know calls me Drea. I started this blog mainly as a hobby to share all the projects my husband, Tony, and I have done on our new house. We purchased a fixer-upper earlier this year in Long Island, NY and so far have come a long way from what it looked like when we first laid eyes on it.

Back in 2008, Tony and I moved into our first home in Queens, NY. Fortunately for us, the house was a new construction so we never really had to improve anything. However, since it was our first home together it was a great learning experience to discover what design styles worked for us. I've always had an admiration for interior design so I was constantly on the internet searching for ideas and inspiration. That's when I discovered blogs! I was instantly addicted and have been a loyal follower to a handful of blogs to this day.  So now that we finally found what might very well be our "forever home" I want to invite you all on our journey. I hope that this blogs inspires you just as much as so many other blogs have inspired me!
